Many Races live in Valxion and here are brief descriptions on them.
Humans
Humans make up most of the population of Valxion and thrive in most of the towns and villages. Some can also be born with the ability to use magic. They have a King and a royal family that they look up to for guidance and to take care of the land they rule on.
Elves
Elves live in quaint settlements around the country and are well known for their craftsmanship and the ability to grow high quality produce.They have the longest life span of the humanoid races. They can be born with magic but do not use it, as they see it as a dark temptation into repeating what has happened in the past. They rarely socialize with others in their settlements and only trade if it is a good offer. Some elves do go off and live among the humans whether it be because of banishment, wishing to learn magic, or of their own choosing.
The Melez
The melez live in many nomadic tribes all over Valxion and have the similar look to humans, although they each have some animal characteristic visible on them such as ears, tail, horns, eyes and so on. They are excellent hunters and trackers as they live mainly on the resources of the land around them. It is very rare for one to be born with magic and if so is regarded highly within the tribe society. They also live among the cities and towns but mostly as slaves who have been sold by slavers as they are seen to be "more animal than human."
